What are the documents I will get during and after payment?
After physical allocation, can I start building on it?
Yes. The estate layout is in sections and you are limited to build houses within each section based on the designated type of use or plan of that section (commercial or residential) whether bungalow, duplex or block of flats.
Can I resell my plot?
Can I transfer my land to someone else without full payment?
No. the land is not transferable before completion of payment.
What happens if I default in payment?
If after 90 days, there is no payment, Esso Properties will make a refund of 70% of the money that was paid up, while 30% will be retained for company administrative fee and the transaction discontinued.
Can I pay to your agent?
No. All payments should be made into the company’s account.
What are the payment options available?
Can I make an outright payment?
Yes. You can make an outright payment.
Do I have to pay a development fee apart from the payment for the land?
Yes. The development fee is not included in the payment fee for the acquisition of the land.
Is the price of commercial land the same as residential land?
No. It's not the same.
What are the proposed services on the land?
Apart from the estate sites, Esso Properties provides perimeter fencing, electricity, paved roads, security house and drainage systems.
Can I request a special position like a corner piece?
Yes, you can at an extra charge of 10% of the total sum.
What are the plot sizes available?
How much is the survey fee?
₦350,000 per plot (subject to review).
Can I use my personal surveyor instead?
No. You must use the company’s surveyor.
Is the survey fee a one-time payment?
Yes, it is.
Is there a layout plan for each estate?
Yes, there is.
